STTS APP ("we", "our", or "us") is a social status app that helps you share your availability with close friends. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your phone number or email address for authentication, and the display name and handle you choose.
Profile information. You may optionally add a profile photo, a status note, and tags you apply to friends. This information is visible to your friends within the app.
Status data. Your availability status ("down" or "busy"), who you share it with, and the time it was set. Status automatically expires at 6 AM each day.
Messages and plans. Direct messages, group chat messages (cliques), and plans you create or are invited to. These are stored to deliver them to recipients.
Photos and media. If you send photos or GIFs in a chat, those are stored and shown to the recipient.
Usage data. Basic technical data like device type, app version, and crash logs, used to keep the app running correctly.
We use your information only to operate the app — delivering messages, showing your status to the friends you choose, creating plans, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or use your information to train AI models.
Your status is visible only to the friends you choose to share it with. Messages are visible only to the participants in that conversation. Your profile (name, handle, photo) is visible to people you are friends with in the app.
Your status resets daily at 6 AM. Messages and plans are retained while your account is active. You can delete individual messages at any time. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems.
We use Supabase for database storage, authentication, and real-time messaging. Supabase processes data on our behalf and does not use it for any other purpose. See supabase.com/privacy for their policy.
STTS APP is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You can update your profile information at any time within the app. You can delete individual messages, leave cliques, or delete your account entirely. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
When you sign up for STTS APP, you consent to receive one-time verification codes via SMS. Message frequency depends on how often you log in. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages.
